Monday morning "joy"

Just the start you need first thing on a monday morning. Stationary traffic, so stationary in fact that I'm sat here with the engine off ... This does not bode well for the rest of the day :-(

The beginning of the end ...

So I've finally done it .....
I've finally got round to starting a blog.
This is something that I've been meaning to do for what seems like forever but I thought now would be as good a time as any to actually go ahead and do it.
It's a bit basic at the moment but there'll be bits and pieces popping up as and when I get round to them but for now there's feeds from Twitter and Last.FM (feel free to mock my taste in music if you wish)

So here you find me ... on my final set of weekend shifts, fighting back the hordes and putting together this thing ... who says men can't multi-task ;)

"Final set of weekend shifts" as on Monday I start my new job properly and cease being a "Hell Desk" analyst. So after many, many years of shift work I'm now going to be doing regular 9-5 hours, or what passes for that round here anyway. It's going to take some getting used to I can tell you but I'm sure I can handle it ...
